Gonna check it out soon. Had heard that Roosevelt lake gets mud, but I hope its not that stupid ankle deep and filled with rocks crap that I keep finding in AZ

Looking at Google Maps, https://www.google.ca/maps/@33.6917994, ... a=!3m1!1e3 , I see that the most likely areas of interest would be where the rivers/creeks enter the lake, although the rivers/creeks look like they, themselves, might have the best likelihood of potential spots (Bumblebee Creek https://www.google.ca/maps/@33.7552072, ... a=!3m1!1e3 , Salt River https://www.google.ca/maps/@33.6552821, ... a=!3m1!1e3 ), since the lake level has been raised by a dam. However, with so much drought happening in many places, perhaps the water level might be low enough to expose interesting areas, especially where sediment is deposited by the rivers/creeks.
