Fire-spewing quicksand found in Phillipines

Postby JohnnyD1986 » Fri Feb 12, 2016 12:18 am

According to this video, a corn plantation was swallowed up by quicksand. That alone isn't interesting about it, as this quicksand is spewing embers.

It was mentioned in the description that a scientist believed it to be a part of a growing volcano, something that I was thinking about too. The birth of a brand new Philippine volcano! Back on February 20'th, 1943, in a farmer's cornfield near Paricutin, Mexico, the ground opened up, as a brand new volcano formed there, causing over 7000 people to evacuate the area forever. So, around that "fire-spewing quicksand", things could get very bad very quick, with temperatures in that spot possibly rising up to around 1800˚F, or 1000˚C, with gas, ash, and lava decimating the surrounding areas!
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

Yep!

Actually, with the national fetish/obsession they have for burning stuff, maybe Mother Earth is trying to tell them something.
