In what way do you find quicksand attractive?

I read elsewhere on this board that fetishes can be broken down to three different levels detailing the different ways in which you might find your particular fetish arrousing. Which of the three definitions below best describes how you feel about quicksand?

Turn-on: A person sees someone wearing spike-heeled ankle strap sandals, and thinks "Mmm, nice!" Maybe sexy shoes become part of their fantasy life. Their partner walking into the bedroom in "hooker heels" might have the same effect as Viagra or watching P**n. But the person is still capable of having "vanilla" sex with no relation whatsoever to spike heels.

Kink: A person with a "kink" might only get sexually interested in a person wearing spike heels. They might request that their partner wear spike heels during sex, and might have trouble performing without fantasizing about sexy shoes.

Fetish: At this point, the shoes become the total sexual focus; the person wearing them is no longer necessary. This person focuses exclusively on women's high heels, perhaps even collects them, buys videos of them, etc.

I don't personally have an attraction to quicksand at all (sorry if this is against the site rules) but I am very open-minded and very interested in the quicksand fetish as this is the first time I have heard about it.

I consider my interest in quicksand to be a fetish. But it totally has to do with the woman involved (quicksand itself doesn't 'do it' for me). So, I'm not sure that the definition/example of fetish that you provided fits this environment.

I try not to get too caught up in terminology in any case, as too many discussions here have gone completely academic, in my opinion. Quicksand in a sexual sense is about getting aroused. That's supposed to be fun.

But more to the topic, I think we've discovered that there is no vanilla interest in quicksand. The interests here are intensely individualistic.

I don't think having a fetish like this precludes normal sex with a partner - which I enjoy. A lot...

But I wonder how many of us are 'having thoughts' while doing it.

Besides, it's not very practical to have sex in mud or quicksand (although I can think of at least one person who would disagree), so no doubt, a mixing of fantasy and reality is not that far fetched.

Men who have gotten to know me have often received a horrible surprise. Yes, I like quicksand, but a perfect pair, we may not yet be, for if I developed sexual yearnings for anyone, he went under in a sea of muddy bubbles, perilously sucked under in the mire of my mind.

That said, empty quicksand isn't particularly titillating, for it does nothing but sit quietly in the sun...looking pretty.

I'm definitely at the "Fetish" level of that scale. My sex life is not defined entirely by this fetish alone however. Having multiple fetish or fetish like interests makes it pretty easy for me to find something to latch on to no matter what the situation. For instance I have a special affinity for fit, leggy, women as well as wet skin, underwater, drowning, sweat, showers, and some other things. All of this plays into a little ritual I share with my fit, leggy, sweaty, wife that I throw over my shoulder and carry into the shower for playtime when the kids aren't around. While I can't share my qs fetish with her there have been times when that plays into what's in my head and it does help make things more interesting.

I'm way lower than any of those tiers. I consider myself to be at the level where I enjoy muddy boots, but it's never really been sexual to me.
