New member. Wondering if there's any good place to sink at Illinois. Been into this fetish since I was 14 years old. Would like experience this moment in the summertime with a friend of mine.

You might be able to find what you are looking for here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=847&hilit=sinking+location#p6949

It might be tough to see at first, but there is a link right before the image of the girl in mud. You need to be logged in to your Google account to view the map, but once you get there type "Illinois" into the search bar. You'll see that a few spots have been marked. Find the one closest to you and have fun! :)

Welcome. I'm in West Central Illinois. Usually, the good sinking spots are dependent on the weather and amount of water sitting on top. There's a spot near Jacksonville that I know of. Might take some hiking to get to some spots. Unfortunately, the areas I'd really like to try are visible from the roads.

Welcome to Quicksand Fans! :D

You can try searching Google Maps (use earth view) for any bodies of water or marshland that might look interesting.
