Quicksand Fans

I just would like to know from everyone (and to start a good tread)
What was it that got you into this fetish?
Was it an experience, a movie, show, a web search?
Were you just born to sink?!

It was 'Tarzan's Hidden Jungle' for me. Vera Miles sinking into what I called 'muddy jello' at the time got me hooked!!!
(Muddy Jello because the quicksand wiggles and swayed when she was in it)

I don't remember which tv show/movie I saw my first quicksand scene but from when I was younger it wasn't so much as who was in it but the the thought of the actual experience of being in it and wondering what it'd be like.

My very first memory involves watching a TV commercial when I was three.

However, since I wasn't at all surprised by my reaction to this and I remember already knowing that I was interested in this substance called quicksand...I just don't have an answer for that.

It was some time before that. I feel like my fetish began inside the womb!

Even as a young kid, I was just always into it, dunno why.

With a female mud fight in a TV gameshow, I think, when I was very young.
But these are quicksand comics or movies scenes which have really oriented me to the quicksand

Also, my father is an amateur herpetologist (he study frogs, toads and other amphibians), so it's maybe in my genes too...

There was a Lucy Ball TV show, where Jack Benny wanted to store his money. There were a lot of gags; A gillotine, a gorrilla, 3 Native Americans that threw knives, and snapping turtles. Just when the Bank Vault door was with in reach, she and Jack Benny took a few gingerly steps forward into the Quicksand and began to sink. This blew me out of my mind.
It was the late '60s and I was 4-5 years old; not sure. I knew I liked girls, (didn't know why) and I liked 'em in a skirt and heels (My mom still tell my wife about me taking off after a pair of purple stilettos and a dress that walked by. Such a terible thing to do as a three year old, but again I knew what I liked.) and why did I get a kick-stand when Lucy was sinking in Quicksand? I have seen that question asked many times over, so I learned not to ask- just accept it.

After posting my last message, I remembered that my grandfather (my father's father) was a fisherman in rivers. So I really think that wetlands are a family affair

I can remember being about 4 years old and watching the movie "The Brave Little Toaster." There's a scene where the 5 main characters are tied together by a power cord and end up sinking in quicksand, one by one. That's the first time I remember knowing that I liked quicksand.

I remember always liking mud a lot and it quickly worked up to quicksand in my childhood adventure fantasies. I was 4 years old and imagining myself having to escape a prison by swimming through a moat of quicksand, but I didn't always succeed. I recognized it as a fetish when my fantasies became more sexual over the natural course of time and hormones.
