I've been trying to find some in Oregon, but so far, no luck...

Anyone know of any good place to look?

I am new to this and frankly quite nervous going to any of these places but this map thing is great some places close to Massachusetts but still nervous of going to one of theses spots for the first time alone with the fear of being discovered and never doing it before.

Moving to Mass myself shortly. Sounds like this could turn into a group outing...maybe?

The Great Salt Marsh Mid Cape.. Lots of deeep tidal mud...
been in it before was quite fun... ;- )

There is a spot in the Zuidlaarder Meer, It is at the northern end, more or less behind a small nudist beach. Be carefull though. There is some foot and bicycle traffic at times and it is quite deep in thinnish mud and my feet did not touch the bottom, when I was chin deep!

Hi everybody, I'm new on the forums here.

I'm going to start investigating the mud around here in NYC. My first place of interest is jamaica bay and broad channel. anyone have any experience looking there ?
