B-Movie Beauties Photo Gallery

Postby herbsmall » Sat Aug 30, 2014 1:23 am

I admit that I thought while watching movies from the 1970s and 80s that all of the sexy actresses were mostly condemned to B-films while their less appealing counterparts got all of the work in bigger budgeted, higher profile films. As such, I thought I would see if any of you guys were interested in looking back at some of the gorgeous women who made late night pay cable so much fun in the 1980s and early 1990s.

I plan on posting a different actress each week, if the thread gets a positive reaction and seems to be of interest to anyone. I think everyone on the board knows that Brinke Stevens is my favorite actress (and most beautiful...sexiest, etc.) However, there were a lot of gorgeous women doing B-films in the 1970s and 80s. If you have a favorite B-movie actress...Please post her. All of the photos are webfinds, so thanks to the original posters.

Let's start the thread off with Hope Marie Carlton, who I thought was the cutest of the recurring actresses in the movies of my favorite director, Andy Sidaris. Andy's movies were always tongue-in-cheek, funny and packed with action. Obviously, as you can see by Hope Marie, Andy's films were loaded with beautiful women. The lady with Hope Marie on the Savage Beach poster is Dona Speir, who appeared in more of Andy's films than any other actress.

You want her...You got her. I was planning on doing a post a week, but thanks to the holiday, I was able to get in two this week.

Thanks to both of you for the replies. I'm glad this thread is of interest.

Dona was Andy Sidaris' most frequent star, appearing in seven of his films...all of which I highly recommend. Enjoy the always delicious Dona. As stated, these are web finds, so thanks to the original posters.

One of my favourites, though not technically a B-movie actress, was Virginia Madsen. First saw her in "Electric Dreams" and fell madly in love with her!

Hey, post whomever you want. I'm glad you're enjoying the thread.
I’ve always stated that the 70s was when the really sexy actresses started doing B-movies. That is proved by our next B-movie Beauty, Barbara Bouchet.

Barbara had some mainstreams success in the 1960s, including guest-starring on Star Trek and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. She was also in the godawful 1967 James Bond spoof Casino Royale, which does have an extremely gorgeous collection of actresses. Mystery Science Theater 3000 watchers may recognize her from Agent for H.A.R.M. Anyway, roles in the U.S. seemed to dry up for Barbara in the 1970s, maybe because she was too beautiful, so she went to Italy and starred in a lot of horror films.

In my opinion, Barbara’s best film, of the one's I've seen, is the excellent Amuck, although I also recommend Black Belly of the Tarantula and Ricco, the Mean Machine (the car on the bridge scene is classic).

Re: Rosalba Neri aka Sara Bey

Postby herbsmall » Sat Sep 06, 2014 3:27 pm

When I started this thread, I didn't realize there were going to be so many ladies I wanted to feature, so I'm going to try and post two each week, if that is ok with everyone. If you want to comment on a particular actress, don't hesitate if she isn't the last one up, so to speak. For example, don't decide not to comment on Barbara Bouchet, just because I'm posting Rosalba Neri.

I noticed that the thread has gotten off to a very blonde start, and, while I appreciate many different types of beauty, my favorites have always been exotic brunettes. Here is our first Brunette, the ravishing Rosalba Neri. For some reason, U.S distributors billed her as Sara Bey when her films were dubbed into English. Rosalba starred with the above mentioned Barbara Bouchet in the excellent Amuck. However, Rosalba is probably best known for her stunning performance in Lady Frankenstein, which is one of my favorite "so bad, it's good" movies. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. Rosalba also starred in The Devil's Wedding Night, which I found entertaining, although it is nowhere near as good as Amuck or Lady Frankenstein.

Re: Barbara Bouchet and Rosalba Neri...Together

Postby herbsmall » Sat Sep 06, 2014 3:33 pm

As I've mentioned in other posts on the board, I don't think anything can match the beauty of two gorgeous women enjoying each other. The last two ladies I posted, Barbara Bouchet and Rosabla Neri, had a very erotic love scene in Amuck, which I think is one of the most beautiful lesbian scenes that I've ever seen. Actually, Barbara had a couple of lesbian scenes in the movie. However, my extremely high recommendation for Amuck isn't just for that reason alone. It is a suspenseful film for anyone who enjoys 70s horror. Of course, having two women as lovely as Ms. Bouchet and Ms. Neri didn't hurt its entertainment value any.

Anyway...here are some pictures from Amuck that show the two lovely ladies together.

If you want to touch on B-movie brunette beauties from the world of Andy Sidaris you can't, CAN'T, fail to mention Julie Strain. One of my all time favorites ever. I own an autographed copy of her epic literary work Six foot one and Worth the Climb. Now retired and a full time fifty something mom she continues to look incredible as she parts with her collection on Ebay. Each piece is modeled by Julie personally and she includes a bunch of autographed goodies.

While most of the B-movie goddesses from the 70s are not what they were back then, with the exception of Brinke, I think its time someone does a sort of revisitation of the "over the hill gang."
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 13 different producers. Info may be found at:
