Proposition a) The sinking of the Titanic was a complete accident, and this must be some kind of spooky coincidence.

Proposition b) It was a planned disaster, using the 1898 book as a blueprint, orchestrated by people who had the motive, means, opportunity to do so, and stood to benefit from the consequences (high profile opponents to the formation of the privately-owned US Federal Reserve went down with the ship, and look what happened the following year in 1913).

Good Lord what took so long? You can be that guy and I'll be the guy who rolls his eyes and launches into a tirade about what a load of absolute nonsense all of this is.

The Titanic? Right. It's much easier for me to believe that instead of just assassinating the parties they didn't like, some insanely capable dark forces managed to get an iceberg in the path of some otherwise very competent sailors and have the lot of them turn a new cruise liner into a giant kamikaze. Jules Verne wrote a virtual blueprint for man's first trip to the moon in From the Earth to the Moon. There were many amazing coincidences a hundred years before the actual event but those things do happen.

Now for crackpot lunacy of a more recent vintage. There is no point in debating each badly flawed argument that is espoused by Sept. 11, conspiracy nuts. They simply refuse to believe that anything completely lacking in physical, empirical, or documentary evidence can't be true. Rather, let's just cut to the finish and ask the big questions that nobody appears able to answer. Why would anyone do such a thing? Even more incredible how does a government that can't hide a President's mistress manage to pull off such a monstrous event without anyone ever knowing about it? How is it that such supremely capable bad guys that can fool every government, major media outlet, credible journalist, military leader, and billions of average people, are unable to shut down a two dollar website that knows "the truth?"

There's a great example of the practical details of managing such an operation. I love to spring this on all of the Kennedy assassination nuts. Here are the tapes of air to ground communication between Air Force One and the White House Communication Agency on that day.

For those actually interested in history and not hearsay it makes for an interesting listen. I've gone over every minute of it a couple of times myself. What really stands out is the confusion, the limited communication ability, the lack of knowledge and agreement among the major players, about what was going on. How in the world is a plot that has so many moving parts that could go wrong going to be directed in real time? Football teams can't execute running plays without stuff going wrong so how do all of these amazing conspiracies, vastly more complicated in detail, work so perfectly and remain silent forever?

If you want something more substantial and challenging to get your teeth into, may I suggest that you watch the 57-minute film entitled '7/7 Ripple Effect' about the July 7th 2005 bombings in London. The creator of the film is a man called John Anthony Hill - he was arrested and then extradited from Ireland by British Police in 2009, charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and put on trial at Southwark Crown Court in London, after 5 months of incarceration. The charge was brought because he attempted to bring his film to the attention of the judge and the clerk of the court in a earlier case relating to the events of 7/7/2005.

After his film was shown in open court during the trial, he was acquitted by a jury of his peers (cue deafening silence from MSM - which should be a red flag, given how much coverage the trial was given in anticipation of a guilty verdict). These are facts - this actually happened.

The owner of White Star Line, and therefore the ship itself, one J.P Morgan, was due to sail on it's maiden voyage, but didn't get aboard due to a sudden illness (he was later seen on holiday in Spain, where he received the news about what happened). I suppose there is a parallel with 'Lucky' Larry Silverstein, who had a last minute dermatology appointment on 9/11, which prevented him from visiting the Windows on the World restaurant in the Twin Towers, where he and his family met for breakfast every day (funnily enough, none of them showed up either). Of course, all this is perfectly innocent if you are a Coincidence Theorist. Rest assured that the Official Story is always the truth (even with WMD in Iraq - they're just really well hidden, that's all).

I don't know if it's somehow escaped your attention or not, but this world is gradually being transformed into hell on earth - maybe you have been largely unaffected so far and would prefer to believe otherwise. I wonder how bad it's going to have to get before a critical mass of people wake up to what is slowly being phased in around them. Hopefully before we find ourselves living in Human Settlement Zones (Agenda 21).

Yea we'll just substitute the old boat for the new boat and crash it and nobody will be the wiser, here quick just change the letters on the fantail. Wait, gotta change out the life preservers too. Whoops and the dinner plates. And the serial numbers on the engines. Refitting a 900 foot long 50,000 ton steam liner at that time would've took hundreds of people working for weeks, if not months. Somebody would've talked.
Besides, we all know what really happened.

You've got it bad. Youtube is not empirical data and research. It's hearsay. It's actually crap.

There are more people living longer in free societies now than at anytime in human history. Far from the mass starvation that was predicted for this time period we have a global epidemic of obesity. "Hell on earth"? I think not. This is the definition of the classic "conspiracy theorist". You take minute bits of circumstantial evidence and ignore reality in order to fashion an overly elaborate and unnecessary plot to explain things. Then you stand amazed that the world isn't buying it when you can't present any real evidence. I'm not sure where this need comes from but it fortunately it appears relatively limited.

Regarding the Titanic - conspiracy research into that ship and it's story is, while fascinating, not particularly relevant anymore, given that it occurred almost 103 years ago.

The events September 11th 2001 are far more pertinent, however...

Aaron Russo was a millionaire film producer (Trading Places, 1983) and 2004 Presidential candidate for the Libertarian party. In late 2000, after being introduced to and befriended by Nick Rockefeller, he was told by Rockefeller in October 2000 that 'there is going to be an 'event' next year that will lead to the invasion of Afghanistan and there will be soldiers looking in caves for people, and outlined the war on terror strategy'.

Would you really doubt the testimony of a dying man so flippantly? Watch the relevant interview excerpt above and make up your own mind. If you google 'russo rockefeller' and click images, you can see a photo of them together, date-stamped December '99.

Around the same time that year, the neo-conservative think-tank PNAC, Project For The New American Century, published it's September 2000 report entitled 'Rebuilding America's Defenses', in which it called for multiple theatre wars in middle-eastern countries, and stated that the process of transforming public opinion would be a slow one, absent some catalyzing and catastrophic event, 'like a new Pear Harbour'. Just another weird but innocent coincidence, of course.
