Quicksand Fans

While I realize there are very few of us here who follow ice hockey it seems fitting to recognize the passing, yesterday, of a major figure in the sport - Milt Schmidt. He was 98.

The last member of the Kraut Line , he will be missed .

He did have some good stuff in the TSN Legends of the Game special, when he described the guys, and the third member at centre, having a strong body, and a weak mind They don't make guys like this anymore

Just rewatched some of that; how sweet is it , that when they doing the section on Bobby, Milt Schmidt was scouting for the Bruins at the time when they went to see 2 other guys (who you never would remember) but instead got to see some skinny kid with a crew-cut tearing up the ice and making everyone else look like they standing still
