Paul (The Movie)

Anybody else catch this one yet? Hands down, no exaggeration, the best Sci-Fi Comedy I've seen since Space Balls.

Whilst generally I'm a fan of Mel Brooks, I thought that Spaceballs was bad from start to finish - so I'm afraid the above doesn't really do it for me.

I saw Spaceballs when I was a kid and thought it was absolutely fantastic. I saw it again recently... not so much. So yeah, it's a brilliant Star Wars spoof for 14 year olds. ;)

I thought it was okay but nowhere near as good as Pegg+Frosts breakthrough series Spaced. The jokes in this seemed quite cliched and unoriginal. A good film though and yeah, one of the best comedy sci-fi films in a very long time. Just not as good as Spaced (which was very thickly coated in sci-fi jokes and references).

What about Galaxy Quest?

I've always considered that pretty funny.

I really liked that movie. I think being a serious Star Trek fan helps. 8-)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Hilarious. Alan Rickman is an greatly underrated actor and Tim Allen is perfect for the central role. I watch very few movies and recommend even fewer; this is one of those I wholeheartedly recommend.

Galaxy Quest is fantastic. I'd say it was one of the top 5 star trek movies!
