A few months ago here in SoCal (in parts of L.A. County) had a fierce wind storm that was almost freakish in itself. To say the power companies had their hands full with down power lines/poles is a understatement considering how many trees were downed.
Now those same crews are on their way to the east coast to assist power crews there. The only difference is here they didn't have to deal with flooded conditions. However a little team work will go a long way.
