I know it's been almost three years since I last posted here, but I've been in a big quicksand mood recently and thought I'd share a lot more of the stuff I've made. These have been made over the last few years, and I tend to keep trying to switch styles with mixed results. I hope you enjoy them regardless! I don't want to attach too many pictures at once, so you'll have to view them on deviantART. If you had seen them previously, you may have been dismayed that the high resolution versions were only available if you paid deviantART points. I'm pleased to say they are now free to everyone, so grab them today!

I fucking love your QS stuff. Your most recent work is amazing. I don't know what program(s) you use, but it almost looks like 3D, but not in an obnoxious way, but in a way that's utilized very well.

Thank you! I use GIMP to make it, but I sort of create a base picture in a 3D Modeling program, then use that as reference. I actually kind of don't like that 3D look, but I don't have a scanner or a tablet so any attempt to actually draw it wouldn't really work.

I've just wrapped up another quicksand piece for everybody. I hope you enjoy it!

Not the Right Mud

A young woman on vacation on a tropical island is wandering through the forest on her way to the island's famous natural mud baths. However, due to some misplaced signage, she wanders out of the tourist area and accidentally finds herself sinking in quicksand. Will she be able to get out before it's too late?

This one looks very nice. You're certainly developing your own style with QS art. :)

Beautiful work! I like both versions. Though the darker one is more atmospheric.
