Very nice! I like your artwork, and this piece is very well done. And, as Pete noted, what makes this piece work is her eyes. I also like the fact that she's wearing a t-shirt. Leaves me wondering if she's wearing shorts, cutoffs, jeans, or perhaps thong briefs below.

"Under her clothing she had worn her bikini for the quiet cove, a bend in the local creek some 24 ft wide. the pool of water was a local landmark for it's odd circular whirl. It was a thursday, and she had decided to call into work and request time off. while the waist deep pond was a regular attraction for the hot summer seaon, she found it unoccupied. She had picked the right day and the right time. without jubilant cheering she crept down the bank, deposited her bag, layed out her towel, removed her jeans. going arround the bend she was surprised, "no water"?
the dry sandy surface confused her. there had been a cloudburst a month ago, and no rain since...
Sighing to herself she thought to take the opportunity to clear a spot, reposition her stuff, and then spend the day sun bathing.

She din't get too far out into the clearing, when her feet disapeared as if she had just walked off a ledge. She looked down at the sand all around her, her mind siezed for the moment. She was 'falling' into the ground? Her descent slowed as she recovered her wits, thinking to her self;
what is this?
what do I do?
...
Her mouth opened as her silent conversation brought forth what she believed to be an impossible answer.

..."Quicksand", she whispered.
a brief pause before she starts to scream and thrash in a panicked frenzy,
"I AM SINKING IN QUICKSAND! HELP, HELP! ANYBODY!"

That's amazing, it's both innocent and sexy at the same time.

As psiandco suggests, she could have been there for a dip in some water, and is surprised by the mud... alternatively, maybe she was after some mud fun, but wasn't sure what she was getting into... either way, it's fantastic.
