you got me thinking on this subject and I wanted to share a manip,
of an innocent outting that takes an unintended, dramatic turn.
a kind of, "hey bob what are you doing?"
"oh have a seat gwen, a show came on about a shipwrecked girl".
Gwen, "oh, like tom hanks in Castaway". she settles into the seat beside bob.
both see the innocent heroine walk into view, if either has an 'urges' they are quickly forgoten
as a sympathetic concern grows for the young lady.
When the dramatic quicksand scene comes into play though,
the girl's struggles and loss of her bikini top can trigger new emotions, new urges...

I just saw this and I have to tell you that I like the first effort better. Everything about her, hair, face, limbs, says that she's still falling and visually it just makes more sense that way.

Hmm, if I had added a wet sand splash arround her knees, it might be more acceptable as a snapshot from the instant of imapct/landing in the quicksand...

I really like the drawings that you created, and they stirred my imagination a bit. I got carried away.
