She's not part of the community as of right now, but I shared one of the parts with her and she practically demanded the rest of it xD.

Yes there are certainly women here. Though I am not one of them I have met a dozen or so face to face, at least five of whom were very much into the fetish itself. Most of the others claimed to be and I have no reason to doubt them - I just don't have direct evidence. I believe that Nessie, a few years back, estimated that roughly five percent of the membership is female. That estimate was done in a different forum but one dedicated to pretty much the same thing.

It's been my experience on a few other groups that the membership is almost totally male, to the point where I was considered, well, something of a curiosity to most, and a annoyance to others in what I presumed they considered a exclusively male domain.

I lurked here for a while before posting, to see what people were like. Most have been friendly, but I am still a bit upset the guy who moaned about a certain lack of quicksand story wasn't a bit more grateful of the effort of my first attempt, even if it wasn't what he expected.
