I have a story I wrote about a quickweb spider, who basically burrows a hole into the ground, then fills it with a specific kind of web that acts quicksand-like, maybe more like tar, then disguises the top so it's like a pitfall trap into the web-like quicksand.
Is that on topic to post in user-submitted Stories?

It's not traditional. But as long as there is sinking involved, it should engage some of the crowd here.
