Very good work. I definitely prefer good stories with quicksand in them to "quicksand stories" (although I take a guilty pleasure in those too.)

You do realize you've created a whole new universe and some very strong characters in this little story?

I also really liked this. :D I'm all about the good story over the simple plop and sink, although I really like them too. It is what I've tried to do in my forays in quicksand fiction, all of which are posted throughout this thread.

Thanks! When I found out about the liberal attitude on this site,it got my creative juices flowing!

I forgot to add that I have a few tales tucked away that are HILARIOUS involving quicksand.

One about 2 Star Wars fans getting revenge on Hayden Christensen. For his shitty acting job in the last 2 Star Wars movies! Do you think that would go well here?

Only if you can sink him with Jar Jar.... ;)

Yep. Looks like Quicksand Doctor74 deleted all his posts before departing the forum. Sigh. He could be a little annoying (OK, a lot) but he was cool, and we shared a bunch of common interests. :(
