obeez the muiti colered quicksand

anyone ever consider it . the latest commercial on Disney channel had a brief sinking but we can't show that here due to age restrictions. has any of our producers consider this as a quicksand substance. I know that knietic sand had been discussed here before

Yes, I have considered using something like this, albeit not that brand name. There are, however, some pretty significant drawbacks. Aside from the lack of realism (admittedly that can be overcome by an appropriate story line), this kind of material is rather expensive. Second, and clearly related to the latter, the material is biodegradable. This means it decays over time, so it has to be replaced, which adds to the cost. I doubt I would use it except in the event that a third party sponsored the cost. I do have a small pit of about 2 cubic yards that could be used for something like this.

I think the multicolor grains might be good for a sci fi or fantasy scene
