Well, I say scene but in truth there wasn't much to see. The heroine sank to her middle (as evidenced by her mud stained red dress which she wore for the rest of the episode) but if nothing else, the low camera angle and high grass certainly saved the special effects budget.
She was pulled to safety by a smuggler hero/ villain who handily had a length of rope with him.
Several characters had already spoken about the dangerous bogs in the area, so maybe in a 'Scooby Doo abandoned fairground' kind of way, the climax of the series may involve a better sequence.

I concur. The story mentions a brother lost to the bog some time ago, plus the girl passes through or around the moors & bogs a few times, but is experienced in the area always avoids the bad spots. No sinking scenes at all.

I usually like bogs-with-grass but in this case... haha, yeah you never see if there is any mud or water whatsoever, she's just standing in a grassy area and they put on a watery sound effect and then made her dress muddy.
