Actually I think there were only a very small number of skeptical responses to the original post by the VICE producer here. At the time of that post (the very day) it happened that another producer was at Studio 588 who had been a subject of an earlier interview by VICE. She expressed the view that they had treated her fairly. There was also some negotiation. When they asked for permission to use small portions of several videos within their piece (and I don't yet know if these were used or not) it was granted subject to the understanding that the piece would not try to ridicule the community.

it should be an interesting watch to say the lease. I was going to contact them but held back. not very many people in my circle know of my fetish if infact any of them do.

the other thing is i help out some youtube celebs who do a car DIY show and i have a following from that. so if i happened to even have my screen name shown or real name shown in the documentary, i didnt really want to deal with the fall out from that.

anyway, this documentary might open up some people who didnt even know about this fetish who have it.

Should be interesting. Uninitiated are over sensationalistic about fetish matters. Personally I think the whole label FETISH needs to be revised. The word fetish often implies a lack of control,or something that a person has to have in order to have satisfaction. As a long time lurker in these kinds of pages,I've seen that often is not the case. This could be a good subject for another post!
