I understand that someone else has already mentioned in another topic that there is sticky slime in stage 3 of Kunoichi/Nightshade for PS2.

But why not make a video of both Hibana and Hisui in the slime, as well as in all of their alternate costumes?

Perhaps simply because it would take too much time to unlock them all?

If I remember correctly, there's a quicksand scene about 3/4 of the way through the 3d remake of final fantasy 3. I'm right in the middle of a play-through right now, so I'll take a video when I come across it.

A video of Nightshade, with those two ladies in different outfits as they wade through slime? Not a problem, thanks to save files from GameFAQs. Using those saves, there was no need to have all of those things unlocked, saving a whole lot of time and effort. Resourcefulness works wonders in situations like this.

Speaking of slime, I know there are some Sonic games that allow you to go through that. Many of them have mods to play as females, too. One such example would be Lost World.

Here's a compilation of scenes that I have found and recorded in various games during my free time.
Game Title: Heretic II
Platform: PC
Area Number/Name: Darkmire Swamps (Stage 2)
Notes: Skin used is Domino. In the video, God Mode (Cheat code: playbetter) was used, which means full submersion isn't lethal.

Game Title: Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel
Platform: PC
Area Number/Name: White Desert
Notes: The area is replete with snow drifts where the player sinks into.

Game Title: Zanzarah
Platform: PC
Area Number/Name: Misty Swamp, The Swamp Village of Dunmore
Notes: This video, which was requested by luckykid77, is intended to address the problem of lower quality versions of footage for this game.

Game Title: Blade Kitten
Platform: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Area Number/Name: Urb Ex, Collaborator, Sisterhood, Vor Hunting, Hidden Fortress
Notes: Sludge in this game causes poison damage upon contact. In the video, an infinite health cheat was used in order to focus on wading through the muck.

Game Title: Epico's Epic Adventure
Platform: Web (Flash)
Area Number/Name: World 2
Notes: Quicksand in this game serves as platforms one can fall of from. Nothing really impressive.

Game Title: Pixel Day Dash
Platform: Web (Flash)
Area Number/Name: N/A
Notes: Jumping out of the sand pits can give the following series of medals: Unsinkable and Close Call. However, death yields the Grim 6 medal.

Game Title: Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force
Platform: GBA
Area Number/Name: Episode IV Stage 2 (Locate R2-D2), Episode V Stage 4 (Find Yoda)
Notes: In comparison to the Japanese-only 1987 Star Wars game for the NES, the bottomless swamps and quicksand don't yield instant death. Instead, the player slowly sinks, giving opportunities to escape from these traps.

Game Title: Golden Sun: The Lost Age
Platform: GBA
Area Number/Name: Taopo Swamp
Notes: The player sinks resulting from movement, where bubbles in the swamp serve as safe areas that raise the player out of the muck. Because of this, the goal is to find the optimal path leading to the desired area.

Game Title: Ganbare Goemon Kirakira Douchuu - Boku ga Dancer ni Natta Riyuu
Platform: SNES
Area Number/Name: Stage 1 and final stage of Goemon's area, and the final stage of Yae's area.
Notes: The quicksand pits found here are nonlethal, but they can be dangerous in areas where the player gets chased by certain foes that instantly kill their targets.

Game Title: Ninja Gaiden Episode III: The Ancient Ship of Doom
Platform: NES/SNES
Area Number/Name: 2-1A
Notes: Sinking waist-deep simply deals damage in the US releases, while the Japanese releases have bottomless quicksand.

Game Title: Kendo Rage
Platform: SNES
Area Numbers: 2 and 3
Notes: Stage 2 takes place in a snowfield, with snow drifts of varying depths, most of which are shallow, while the next stage has knee-deep underwater muck.

Game Title: Dragon View
Platform: SNES
Area Number/Name: Quicksand Cave
Notes: The quicksand areas serve as entry points to lower areas of the caves.

Game Title: Super Star Wars
Platform: SNES
Area Number/Name: Tatooine
Notes: Quicksand in this iteration of Tatooine is nonlethal, as it is only waist-deep. These pits are spawn points for some enemies.

Game Title: Where Time Stood Still
Platform: Amiga/Atari ST, PC, ZX Spectrum
Area Number/Name: Swamp
Notes: Standing still in the swamp will cause the character to sink slowly, and movement pulls the character back up. If your character sinks waist-deep in the grassy area or moves into the deeper parts, he/she can no longer stop sinking.

Game Title: The Lost Vikings
Platform: Amiga/CD32, GBA, Genesis, PC, SNES
Area Number/Name: Prehistoria Level 7, Ancient Egypt Level 1
Notes: If any of the vikings get trapped in the quicksand of Ancient Egypt, they do funny poses as they sink.

Game Title: Gelfling Adventure
Platform: Apple II
Area Number/Name: N/A
Notes: It is impossible to sink all the way to the bottom here.

Game Title: Taz-Mania
Platform: Sega Master System, Genesis
Area Number/Name: The Jungle (SMS), Desert (GEN)
Notes: The mechanics of the muck areas vary in each of these titles, where the latter locks horizontal movement upon sinking, while the latter does not.

Game Title: Wacky Races
Platform: NES
Area Number/Name: Hip Hop
Notes: The stage boss takes place in an expanse of desert quicksand.

Game Title: Bionic Commando
Platform: NES, PC (as Bionic Commando: Rearmed)
Area Number/Name: Area 3
Notes: Once the player sinks waist-deep or lower in these mires without reach towards the trees, defeat is certain.

Game Title: DuckTales 2
Platform: GB, NES
Area Number/Name: Egypt
Notes: The sands may be used to hide some routes and treasures in the deeper parts of the level.

Game Title: Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout
Platform: NES
Area Number/Name: 3
Notes: Some pits here have damage-dealing tumbleweed.

Game Title: Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu
Platform: NES, TurboGrafx-16 (PC Engine)
Area Number/Name: 1
Notes: Muck in this game only serves as a minor obstacle that merely slows the player down.

Game Title: Koko Adventure
Platform: NES
Area Number/Name: 3
Notes: Quicksand in this game locks horizontal movement upon submersion, leaving no other option but to jump. Sinking to the bottom causes the loss of the current powerup, if the player has one. Otherwise, it yields instant death.

Game Title: Star Wars (1987)
Platform: NES
Area Number/Name: 1 (Tatooine), 11 (Yavin)
Notes: Tatooine has quicksand pits that open up, while Yavin has grey muck in the second area.

Game Title: Parasol Henbee
Platform: NES
Area Number/Name: 5 (Cinderella level)
Notes: In this game, mud and water function in a similar manner.

Game Title: Little Magic
Platform: NES
Area Number/Name: Swamp (Terrain/Scene via Battle Mode)
Notes: Swamp areas in this game work in a similar style as those in Zelda II: Adventure of Link.

Notes: Quicksand in this game only deals damage upon submersion to the bottom, sending the player back to the recently-visited edge.

Sure, we may have seen some quicksand footage from Tomb Raider III through video walkthroughs and death compilations, but here is an assortment of extended clips of Lara wading and/or sinking in swamps, sinking pools, and quicksand found in various levels. As a bonus, some outfits (Nevada and Tinnos) were replaced, and 3 selected custom levels made with TRLE are included in the video, where the first two levels feature Lara in a bikini as a replacement for her outfit in those levels.

Its still a real shame the developers went the lazy route with the bogs and quicksand in the game. Also unfortunate this tomb raider never got remastered.

Still no quicksand in the new series yet either, too bad.

Remakes or remasters of TR3, or even quicksand to be found in the latest Tomb Raider releases? One can only dream and imagine how great it would be, especially with the fact that the bog mechanics could use a lot of improvement from there. Yes, it's sad, but true. Glitches and marsh-like bodies of water are the closest thing you can get to quicksand in the new titles.
