Did they hire Bill Murray as grounds keeper?

Funny how real life sometimes imitates MPV scenes... ;) Remember The Golfer?

This reminds me of the PRP scene with SYN where she is golfing and then falls into delicious dark/thick peat quicksand. Still one of my top 5 scenes from our producers

Looks like Carl is telling the gopher to remain calm and he won't sink any deeper.

I remember when I was a teenager there was a primetime comedy sketch show, very short-lived, that had John Candy present a mock horror film about a haunted/killer golf course. His buddies kept getting offed, and one of them bit it in a quicksand trap. I am pretty sure it was probably dreadful with (likely) no actual sinking - I do remember a sand encrusted hand clutching a golf club - and certainly not as good as the fantasies that sprang from it. Even so, I would still love to see it again. Alas, I can not remember the name of the show, and any and all internet searches have proved futile.

Somehow I was thinking more "Revenge of the Cheerleaders" ;)

Hmmm...If CT was not so damn boring, I might be tempted to take the 1 hour drive to check it out myself. I mean c'mon, the guy who sunk in it is suing for what the majority of us would see as a dual purpose club membership!
