Dumb as pigeons...

Postby BogDog » Wed Apr 26, 2017 1:12 am

Pigeons being sucked down in "dry quicksand" (grain, actually) ant-lion-style in an odd video from Russia...And I mean weird. some seem to dive in headfirst!

The grain is intended for making bread....Must be some interesting tasting stuff.

You really don't want to know what makes it through the sifting in a load of corn.. Or any grains for that matter...

You should see what happens after the big cooling towers at the plant I work at have been idle for a while. When they startup after an extended shut down there's a veritable H-Bomb of pigeon parts hurled into the air.

Aside from sadistic thoughts about flying rats I'm having visions of a Swedish girls school class in a similar situation after running toward a desert oasis. Just short of the water and thirst keeps them coming one after the other. Funny the things you can take inspiration from.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

Careful,,,, that may end up becoming the dry sand version of a busload of cheerleaders in quicksand. ;)
