liquifaction

Postby arisumudvixen » Sun Mar 01, 2015 1:08 am

taken from my 3DS But while walking a shortcut on a hill to get down road, I saw this spot of actual liquifaction. it probably would be better seen in video but the sand kind of bubbles upward but not to the surface. It's like inches wide so there's not really any room to do anything but I thought it unique to see an actual quicksand. Way to small to play in though.

I went this afternoon. and it's slightly deep, a good 6-7 inches. but it's no good for struggle or sink. it's extremely wet, not enough dirt to make it worth it, to cause you to struggle.

Its often disappointingly shallow like that. Few people know it but there actually is quicksand from time to time at studio 588, a few dozen feet from the clay pit set. The problem is its less than 6 inches deep. Its in a low spot on an old dirt road that was once passable in a car. About ten years ago when I was digging the clay pit and before the house was built, I parked my car there. The ground was a bit wet but perfectly solid. When I returned a few hours later the wheel had sunk in about 5 inches. I had to get a neighbor with a truck and tow chain to haul it out.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 13 different producers. Info may be found at:
