Moonlight sink

**NSFW and grim ending**

Kaella couldn't stop thinking about the quicksand. She had gotten nervous and pulled herself out from her midnight sink before she got too deep, and had regretted it ever since. She began making plans to re-visit the site.

This time she headed out before dawn and as the sun rose over the water she was standing at the edge of the bog in the same panties and boots as before. She wasn't even entirely sure what it was about the boots that made things more exciting for her but she loved the way they felt in the mud. She tied a long rope to the warning sign and made sure the knots were secure.

Gingerly she stepped into the bog. It quaked and rippled like a water bed but held her weight. She stepped farther out, each step going a bit deeper, the muck making it harder to pull her legs lose.



She let out a small "EEP!" sound as the quicksand suddenly loosened up and she plunged in to her hips. Her heart pounded, excitement mixing with primal fear.



She stood still and got a thrill in her stomach as she felt herself continuing to sink anyway. Her breathing was becoming more rapid as the smooth, silty muck gripped her waist tightly. She said softly, "Help, I'm in quicksand" and looked around with a guilty giggle. She began to pump her legs and twist her body, as if trying to escape. The quicksand responded by dragging her downward.



The young woman's entire body trembled and her breath came in ragged gasps as the bog slid over her breasts. She held her arms up and looked around as if hoping for rescue, fully engrossed in her fantasy of peril now.



She had never been this deep before and she wasn't about to chicken out this time. She continued her struggles, imagining herself the damsel in an old movie until the mud touched her chin. She finally stopped, resting in the bog's tight embrace, panting and smiling and reveling in the feeling of helplessness.



After a few minutes she decided it was time to get out and get home before anyone saw her like this. She reached for her rope and let out a gasp. She had tied it to the sign, but in her excitement, she had forgotten to toss it into the pit. She could see it still sitting there, neatly coiled on the dry ground, hopelessly out of reach.



She started to panic and kick, trying to raise herself out of the muck, but to her horror the bog's support seemed to vanish and she felt the thick muck slither up her neck. She screamed now, as loudly as she could, terror making her writhe against the implacable grip of the heavy ooze. Her head tilted back in a desperate attempt to stay above the surface but the quicksand continued its inexorable rise.



In seconds, her desperate cries were cut off and the only sounds that remained were the morning songbirds and the soft bubbling of the quicksand.

Great picture sequence and a great narrative. A winning combination.
