The mud quickly pulled her further down into the quicksand. The sand soon reached the bottom of her lips. She had to tilt her head up to keep herself from sinking below the surface of the deadly quicksand!

Sobbing, she knew she was going to die as the mud continued to climb her face. The mud began to flow in her ears, cutting off her ability to hear anything.

Suddenly, a spider monkey whizzed by her, holding a vine. The monkey dropped the vine in front of her just as the monkey safely landed on solid ground! The desperate girl was amazed!!
