Attempted account hijack?

Postby BogDog » Tue Feb 06, 2018 12:14 pm

Attempted account hijack? I just received this email:

"You are receiving this notification because you have (or someone pretending
to be you has) requested a new password be sent for your account on
"Quicksand Fans".

I most certainly did NOT request a new password. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up in case your account is under attack as well.

It's easy to presume some sort of malice is a situation like this. But it could also be someone with a user name similar to yours, or someone who thought he signed up as your name.

Having said that, if anyone else has this happen to them, please let me know.
