How far are your sinkings spots away?

Bogbud, don’t you have a place to do a cleanup before you leave your sinking site? I clean up in the Intercoastal Waterway immediately afterwards. Additionally, if I’m on foot, there’s a water hose at a gazebo on the way back to the parking lot at the River Estuary that I often go to. I use that to give everything a fresh water rinse before loading up my car. When I’m not on foot, then I’ve gotten to multiple sinking sites via my jet ski. That makes the trip even more enjoyable, as the hike in and out have been completely eliminated. As for cleanup, I just jump into the water. It, along with the tidal mud, is in abundant supply.

The coast itself is the "Waddensea" (look it up on Wikipedia) with lots of good locations with either saltwater- or freshwater-mudflats. I miss those places

I’ve read about this area, it sounds so enticing. I’d love to go visit, between possible mud and just the clothing optional beaches that seem to be all over the place, I think I’d enjoy a vacation here. Let me ask you, when’s the best time of year to go, and is there a particular island/city/or area to go if I were going to travel for a visit?
