Sorry about being late to the party. I only noticed this because I just approved a post. The best place for this type of discussion is in the Other/All Producer forum.
I actually have dozens of overhead submersion shots that have never been published, because they are generally not the best footage available. This is mostly due to the overhead camera not having an active operator. I will consider making a compilation or two of these shots. You can see the C Stand and boom that we used in the first of Duncan's photos.
Regarding the most previous comment, this has been discussed in terms of using a sports camera (such as a GoPro). What we didn't necessarily consider was using it for the submersion sequence only. This is actually appealing because the other idea was to do the entire scene this way, which would have basically negated all the other cameras.
For the producers - what about this idea?

Agreed. I guess my point might be better expressed by saying that the producers certainly have the means to get most any camera angle if it's requested. By now all of them are pretty clever at getting things done if they want. They just need to hear about it.
The picture of Brinke in the mud may be the only picture in existence to include both Dave and myself, albeit from the backsides.

Maybe in your stash.
There are multiple MPV group shots (taken at the end of shoots) that have us both in there.

Good point. I always (until 2015) went through sets from each scene and deleted those where I appeared unless I was actually in the scene.
