Here's a queston for everyone.
In a TV show and movie which is the longest quicksand situation you have seen?
One that comes to mind is a episode of Combat called a Sudden Terror. A soilder was in it the whole hour episode.

I remember a scene from One Life to Live - Badderly Island series of episodes - where an awfully well dressed (red dress and pearls) blonde woman named Sarah sank for a long, long time before her friend Megan brought two guys to pull her out. The quicksand was kind of dry on top, with something like oatmeal underneath, but it was a good long scene. It is all over youtube if you look.

There was another soap opera scene on All My Children where blonde real estate agent Brooke sank for several episodes until she was rescued - a better swamp location than the above scene.

And yeah, I remember watching the Combat scene as a kid when the episode first aired.
