The Kneeling-On-The-Beach Illusion

I know a lot of us have enjoyed the sight of a model kneeling in the sand on the beach in a way that makes it very easy to imagine that she's sunk to her knees. These are from some bikini model's Instagram page, and side-by-side they created a little sequence I couldn't help but notice.

I remember being a teenager and waiting to see Cheryl Tiegs doing the swimsuit issue in Sports Illustrated someplace like Hawaii with photos knee deep in beach sand just like this. It is a nice memory, and these photos remind me of this. Good memories.

A nice find on an Instagram swimsuit account. Almost like they're doing it on purpose!
