Greetings from the old dominion!
Does anyone here know of any spots around central VA to go sinking? I've looked all around the James river, but most places are too heavily populated. Any ideas?
Anyone know of any spots in Virginia?

There used to be quarries with mud around Richmond but the exact locations were never disclosed by those that knew where they were. There is a quarry in Berkley Springs, WV. It definitely had mud in the past and from the Google satellite view, it looks like it still does.

Someone added this spot near Richmond to the mud map recently, but based off Google street view it doesn't look like it's an actual drivable road and I couldn't figure out what parking lot it's referring to so I worry the marker is in the wrong spot

I'm on the east coast of the USA in Delaware. I am very familiar with the pluff mud...
Easy to find pretty much anywhere on the shore.
Virginia certainly has plenty of it...
