Hello Everyone (Professor Fansworth voice, Futurama)!
New~ish returning member here. I think it's been 10 or 15 years. Good to be back! Especially amongst fellow human~beings who share this slightly peculiar and fairly rare paraphilia. I grew up opposite a beach that was a mixture of mud and sand, when the tide went out, between the age of 1 and 7. I don't remember, but I assume that I must have been fascinated by my feet being swallowed up by the soft enveloping ground, and enjoyed the sensuality of the mud oozing between my toes. And the puberty hits later on, and what was once an innocent childhood fascination become sexualized. I assume that this is what happened to all of gathered together here on this unique website.
I hail from a port town with a river estuary (with mudflats..) on the South coast of Merry Olde England, United Kingdom / Great Britain. I am 44 years old (June 1981) and am not exactly new to this. I found a really great secluded location with bottomless clay in a nearby quarry in 2021, but haven't been back there for a while. I hope it hasn't dried up. It was so deep, and I didn't float at all. It was almost scary. I could have keep going and going further down, with just my nose above the surface for breathing. I actually had brought a large funnel with a dishware hose attached, but decided against going completely over my head, vertically (kind risky, something could potentially go wrong, not worth it). I would estimate that trhe mud was 15~20 feet deep, which is ridiculous. Swanbourne Lake in Arundel, West Sussex is also great during August and September, if there's been a heatwave that Summer (the mud is usually underwater). There is even a sign that reads: WARNING: DEEP MUD (Yes! Just what I've been Looking for!).
Well, I am very pleased to be a member of this common~unity again. Happy New Year in 2026 to you all !

I visited Arundel in 1986 on a trip to the British Isles. Went to see the castle. There's a tower - Bevis Tower - that was not restored and not safe to enter, but it was named for an ancestor of mine - his sword was on display in the area open to visitors (broken in two).
Well, I have never had the chance to take a deep sink - my deepest is ankles! But would I so enjoy going so deep to feel almost entirely engulfed by soft moving wet soil! Of course my insane fantasy is to be swallowed by such stuff. Sounds like the stuff you sank in, without being able to float, would fulfil that insane fantasy.
