Looking for a scene

Postby wccncc » Wed Dec 31, 2025 12:37 pm

Hello,

I am looking for a certain video that featured quicksand in it. It was a video posted years ago on a video sharing site, I forget which besides the fact that it was not YouTube. It was called something like "Wildlife Adventures" or similar. In it, both a man and a woman are sinking in quicksand. At first, they're both laughing about it but eventually get stuck pretty deep and have a difficult time getting out. Eventually, other people (the camera crew?) assist them.

Anyone recall anything like this? I think the woman was wearing a scarf or bandana of some sort, she was a bit older.

Thanks!

Hullo:

I remember this scene.

Takes place along a desert river. It's like a documentary. The woman, who apparently runs this "expedition," and her male friend decide to "have some fun" by wading out into the river and walking onto the sandbar, sinking into the quicksand. They are laughing.

They don't sink very deep -- the man gets to his waist, while the woman sinks up to her thighs.

But then things turn dark as they cannot get out, have to stop the cameras, and eventually it takes (supposedly) hours to dig them out.

The woman then snivels to the camera about how she endangered the whole expedition.

Ummmmm....yes, but why did you do it, then???

And yes, she is not a young woman.

I have not seen that sequence in a long time. But if my dim memory serves, Crypto included that sequence on his list of quicksand scenes.

Another thank you to Crypto for his list!
