How to find people who are into Mud/Quicksand like me

Hello, I’m an autistic furry in Western Washington State and I really want to find someone to share my muddy adventures with (both on a sexual and hobby level), any of you know any places in Washington State I can meet people who are into this? Because I can’t do anything purely online, and I just don’t know where to look for fellow quicksand lovers in my area, so, any suggestions?

Yeah and 99.99% of them Don't answer messages about mud meet up's either! seems like its a VERY closed fetish community, those in the UK who enjoy Mud have moved on to fetlife

Well yes, there is no really great forum on which to meet other folks into mud in the US, most don't respond to messages, or suddenly go silent, or worse, don't show up if you set up a meeting. I'm on FetLife too looking to meet others into mud and/or crossdressing but have had no better luck there than on UMD over the years.

It's one of those things, you have to make the effort, most of which is wasted, to have any chance of meeting a new friend.

I have been asked quite a few times about the idea of setting up some sort of event at Studio 588. People have used various terms, such as convention, conference, meet-up, and so on. My response has always been, and will remain negative toward doing that, IF they mean for me to set it up for them. On the other hand, there HAVE been several groups that have assembled themselves and then arranged for a visit here. I think there are several things that have to be done to pull off such a thing. One is that someone has to take the lead. Another is that time is going to be needed. I suspect it will, and probably has, been the case that the group formed, some members of the group really met face to face, and only THEN was the idea broached to come here. I know of at least one other get-together that took place somewhere else.

One thing is pretty sure. If you met someone five minutes ago and you immediately suggest a meeting, the probability of success is likely close to zero. And that is as it should be.

The sad thing is that over the years, probably having to do with the transition to the anonymity of the Internet, the probability of someone being genuine has decline. Decades ago, you met someone through the Messy Fun newsletter and set up a meeting 1000 miles away on the phone and they were there right on time every time.
