Fun with words...

Postby jagfiles » Mon Mar 07, 2011 11:46 pm

Here's a fun idea for the producers for a video idea. Fun with what is used to sink in.
For example one model could be sinking in peat and as she sinks she says "Peat is neat."
One is sinking in clay and says "Come play in the clay."
Also this gal says "My name is Sandy and I like quickSAND."
They all could say why they perfer what they're sinking in. Though I do realize having multiple sinking situations involving multiple types of sinking pits for one story line could be not easy to do and if one considers the expense as well.
Anyways just a passing thought.

A possible way to accomplish this is to have the brief scenes taking place throughout the shooting season, with each model or set of models doing it at convenient points during/after one of their other shoots. After the season is over, all the brief clips from all the season's models can be merged together. 8-)
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

Actually, this is relatively easy to do, provided all you are suggesting is a series of punchlines. These can be recorded as intended out takes during filming of other scenes. They key to doing it the way I suspect you are suggesting, however, is to have one of every conceivable kind of pit; clay, peat, cork, sand, and so on. "Aye, there's the rub."

That's the only catch with the amount of pits.
Speaking of which when you mentioned cork. Here's another idea. The model is sinking and says "Don't be a dork, use cork."

There is likely to be capacity, among all producers, to shoot four to six such one-liners in each kind of pit, all with different actresses, if there are enough of them.

I believe there was a sample of Elvira saying; "Now that was quick sand!" with the emphsis and seperation of the the two words quick and sand. Kaol had posted this on his site back in '98 or so, and has been posted a few times since.

The "quicksand box" joke would be kinda cool too. "I soon be came an only child" punch line with a raised eyebrow as the actress being chest deep would be a nice visual. ;)
