I'm 27 now. I remember always having a fascination with ladies in quicksand. Even in cartoons. Like the Mario tv show where Peach was stuck in quicksand. It was awsome.
Right around 1999, when the internet was really getting big, Napster was a household name, and Google was coming to power. I decided, why don't I just do a search girls in quicksand in the search engine. I was around 14 at the time. I'll never forget that day. I still remember it. I still remember the dial up as well :/ lol. I remember clicking the first link which was the dellamente quicskand page. As everyone knows by now, it had all the collection of stills from movies and tv shows. Then there were some links from the smaller producers. I saw the Birdwatcher stills from Wave Movies. I was so enthralled and intrigued. I went over to there site and did a search for quicksand there. Behold, they had several movies that involved QUicksand. So I ordered the Birdwatcher one. Today, I still get warm feelings just watching it. Brings back good memories. Course that vid could not hold a candle with what is produced today. But it still got the job done, and effectively I might add.

After that I remember going to Koal's page on a daily basis. Seeing all the stills and videos and all that good stuff. After that my interest died down for a few years cause I was graduating HS. and was involved in so many sports and activities and adventures that I just did not have the time for anything at all. I eventually did stumble to DeepSinking. And from there it was sealed that I would forever be linked to Quicksand. My love and interest for it has blossomed and love it. And I'm very grateful to have been able to have such "quick" and immediate access to it whenever I want.
Now my next step is to eventually produce my own vids. On a small, very small scale of course. But still. I get to do what I love. Glad to see a lot of people have had some really close beginnings to mine. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

And I'm willing to bet that, once everyone gets past the initial shock of "Wow is that girl really in quicskand? Why would anyone be interested in quicksand?" they too, will realize that they might just very well have an interest in it too. And if anything you just can't beat watching a gorgeous girl in mud. No matter what.

I saw "Beastmaster" in a theatre when it first came out in the early 80s. I remember the audience laughing loud and long as Dar was chasing the thieving ferrets around. The roared when he slid off the cliffside. Then- the whole theatre, with an audible "gasp", turned immediately stone cold silent when he hit the quicksand. And this isn't the only time I've seen such a reaction to a scene in a theatre.
Point being, I think it DOES fascinate audiences-when they get an opportunity to actually see such a scene. Does anyone else remember when "Blazing Saddles" was in theatres, for instance? And can you confirm my memory that the whole quicksand scene in that film was greeted with, at best, uneasy laughter? (not to mention the "ewwws" as Cleavon Little's buddy on the handcar spits the oatmeal out of his mouth)
