I loved how you enjoyed the experience of getting out as much as sinking. I'm sure if you had more energy you would have loved just having yourself slide in again once you lower legs were out and reliving the experience. I look forward to hearing more stories. Must be real exciting for you to relive these experiences. Were you at any time worried than you may be trapped there being alone, or were you pretty sure you would get out but it would take some time? Thanks so much for sharing. "Long story shortened..." NOOOOOOO! Cue audience disappointment (I groaned, internally). I don't think you could have gone into too much detail there. Please consider an extended edit... About 10 pages of A4.

I have a couple of questions, if I may ask - just how small are your "...little feet..."? It's interesting because if they are below average size for your height, then you actually possess an unfair advantage in terms of load distribution per square inch (pressure = load divided by area). Heh, no wonder Zebras, Horses and Giraffes get stuck badly. The other thing I'm wondering is; did you sink up to your shoulders/upper arms vertically (without raising your knees)? If so, then that's almost too awesome on your first proper sink. Did you manage to totally submerge on any of the subsequent trips you mention briefly?

Please consider writing more 'field trip' reports like this! Also, sorry about the third (rhetorical) question.

I cant belive you would wear boots into the mud. I remember the first time I decided ti wear a pair of Mry Janesinto the mud. It was great. They protedt the feet, break through the levelsof mud. Like you say, youre wearing a pair of boat anchors. It took me a long time to get back out. Going in is a one way ticket, down.

Nothing makes me feel more femie than beign stuck in the mud. A first rate struggle.

How on/in earth did you manage to retrieve the patent 'anchors' on a subsquent visit? You could have left them there and made a treasure map (X - dig here for shiny artifacts).

Hi Kibosan,

I continue to enjoy reading your stories. I am exactly on the same page with you as far as quicksand sinking. I am not really into seeing girls totally submersed, but rather sinking waist to chest deep, then being stuck and trying to get out. So your stories are great because you sink about that deep, or a little deeper than you expect but then get excited by the struggle to get out, not the total submersion. I would love to hear another story about the next time you went sinking or the time you tried to get your boots. Don't worry about too much detail. I enoy reading it. I would love to share some stories about my experiences and others with you and as well some time soon. Just a thing of the past now for me.
