It would explain a lot. I didn't get this rich, good looking, and athletic by accident.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

The question wasn't ridiculous at all. Belief in reincarnation was around WAY before the so called established world faiths.

I often used to wonder if my unusual attraction to quicksand and deep mud was because I had died in it in a previous life. :? Now, while the logical part of me doesn't feel reincarnation is real, there is always some tiny part of me that feels open to the possibility, however small, fed by instances of people, including children, recalling events that happened before their lifetime in spectacular detail that could only be known if they had actually experienced it (or did they?). :?

This is a story that I saw recently:

I keep on going between pondering any possibilities (is it possible?), and being somewhat skeptical (or is it a hoax?) at the same time. :?
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

Let's pretend that this is true, that our interest was because of a death in quicksand in a past life for example. (Nobody knows, of course) It's fun to talk about these things regardless of reality, and people who atheistically shut down the concept ruin all the fun in it :?
I have always been interested in quicksand since I was a tiny baby (I'm serious.) I do find it interesting to link my fetish to a past life. When I was 4 I fell into very thick quicksand on accident and slowly sank to my armpits before someone got me out (with difficulty), I wonder about what if I got sucked under. Ever since I have been obsessed with that pit, yet now I live thousands of miles away from it :(

Let's say if quicksand was always deadly, and your theory applies, we would all be in a loop of quicksand fate and fetish reincarnation. I think this is interesting.
