This is a reminder that in most locations the changeover to Daylight Savings Time is this coming Sunday morning.

Nearly all computers and on-line devices with clocks will perform this change automatically. HOWEVER, note that the time settings within this and most other forums are NOT automatic. if you want post times to show the correct time you must do this manually in the user control panel.

ALSO, if the CMOS battery in your computer has died then the clock inside you computer is probably not correct. The changeover may increase the error by an hour. This CAN result in things that expire after a set time, such as the cookies that allow us to go from page to page within a site without having to enter a password at each page, may suddenly be beyond their expiration and cease working.

Sunday morning is a good time to make sure that the clock and calendar displays in our computers are correct and fix them if they are not. If the fix does not last or if the clock shows the wrong time after the computer has been off for a while, its time to replace the CMOS battery.
