I sure noticed the same thing, although computer programming in a barracuda tank will do that.

Can I recommend something that worked for me?

If you are taking a SSRI, then this is not for you. Otherwise I'd recommend L-Tryptophan as an honest mood relaxant.

I little less effective but something I take about twice a day is L-Theanine, and I stay mellow as jello. No SSRI interaction.

I'm recommending either one or the other. Both would actually be counterproductive.

I'm putting this here instead of the Off Topic folder since this is where the suggestion may do some immediate good.

Lurkers, I don't mind. They effectively don't exist as an entity, as they neither add nor subtract from a community. There's a tendency to expect the silent majority to take some kind of action to contribute, but that is not a fair expectation.

Gimmies, on the other hand, are a different matter.

Well, like I said, lurking has its virtues. I don't suppose there's a forum setting to change Dick's status to "Permanent Lurker"?

Oh the irony... I'm actually almost the opposite of a lurker now, despite my username... :?

I became a contributor when I realized no one but me could realize specific characters in my fantasies appearing on this board... first amateur manipulations, then writing QS stories... In fact, I'm working on another story right now...
