I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL! Seems like Women have to be very careful about what they say online unless they want to be harassed. All I did was comment on a few guy's photos in one of those "Man Gone Wild" Subreddits or requested fetish material/info, and was met with some off the wall private messages. It's super discouraging and very uncomfortable! I can't tell a man he's sexy or handsome without receiving a lewd PM in return. Then those same men turn around and complaint that they aren't getting attention from women. W...T...F? Treat them with respect and you might make a female friend and possibly, a girlfriend. It's not hard. Ugh!

Sorry, I had a moment. lol! Rant over.

99% of this community has been wonderful to me. Mostly, I have received better treatment overall for being a woman. Some of my mud friends have even considered some of my other mud friends to be total trolls. So actual trolls have gone overboard to be nice to me while deliberately annoying other guys.

But that 1%...it's enough to make a gal just go under mud and hide there forever. They do suck, that 1%.

It would be presumptuous to read much into this. Stuff happens. I too have joined stuff just to see what was inside and a short time later, rejected it as being not for me.
