Quicksand Roleplaying?

She might find it to be really exciting... maybe she's feeling the same way you are, that things have gotten routine. Like I've said before, you won't know until you ask.

This is something I've been thinking about for a while as well. As an avid RPer myself, the lack of quicksand roleplaying platforms really bums me out. Hell, at this point I'd be totally willing to go out of my way to start up a quicksand rp chat myself on Discord or something if anyone else would be interested.

To the earlier points about mobile phones and social media... That stuff just isn't private. Now I'm not suggesting that sitting at a PC is somehow a safe, secure, 100% private scenario but at least you have a chance. I, myself, still look to chat room RP especially since I don't have secondlife. Unfortunately all there really seems to be (with any real activity) is Eka's Portal and there's a lot of stuff there...Some interest in quicksand...some innocent stuff...and then like...underage characters seem to be allowed...along with sometimes very violent fetishes... Something for everyone there and (without any judgment to legal, harmless, fantasies) I don't entirely mean that as a compliment. You have to be careful who you try to talk to.

Anyway, I, myself, find it a shame that there isn't an active and dedicated QS chat location.

I believe the registration page for quicksandland has developed a malfunction, related to an issue reported a few days ago. This has been reported to my webmaster but has not yet been fixed. If you will send me an email with your chosen username and the email address you wish to use, I should be able to create an account for you and manually send you your in initial password.

Okay, so after like a year of letting this thread sit, and thinking about the responses it got,... and kind of forgetting about it after awhile,... I'm finally getting back to it.

Firstly, thank you to all of you who responded to this thread, all of your input was appreciated.

So, in general this topic was meant to basically see if there were any people still interested in this kind of stuff, specifically one on one play, typically through some kind of messenger program, and it seems like there might be. However, without much in the way of active chat-rooms I suppose the next question would be, how do people that are interested in this go about meeting up, without just posting a message on the forum flat-out asking that?

Since I haven't come up with a viable answer to that question, aside from Second Life, which I did try and got bored with quickly, I suppose I will finally just come out and ask;

If there is anyone on here who might be interested in doing some Quicksand Role-Playing, pretty much through some of the existing messenger programs, feel free to send me a private message on here (or on DA or FA, if you prefer), I would love to discuss interests and see if we sync up (pun intended). The commissioned artworks I posted in the Drawings section of Members Submissions (And in the galleries of my DA & FA pages, linked below) should provide a rough idea of the kind of scenarios I am interested in, but I would love to talk more personally to anyone interested.

If there is no one interested, well, no worries, it was worth a shot.
