Anyone in Brazil?

Postby mscfmjkj » Sun Jun 29, 2014 3:47 pm

I'm going to Brazil next month! Does anyone know of any mud spots in the Porto Alegre area?

I don't know where Tuia Beach is, but looking at the general area with Google Maps yields several potential spots, with this one being the most extensive, and looking like a definite quicksand hotspot, with sand washed far inland:

A close-up view of some areas. Places where the sand is darker brown (I think the really dark spots are vegetation) indicate it is wetter, and places where there are pools of water surrounded by the darker sand are definitely promising:

Looks like a fun place to explore!
