Second Life quicksand question

Just curious, but is there a way, once your "victim" gets caught in quicksand, to make it where their arms get stuck, and he/she cannot free themselves? I haven't found a way yet, but then, I'm still a newbie. Many thanks. :D

As far as I know, there is no scripted animation for that in the quicksand sinking programs that would allow for that. What I do is stop the animation during the sinking sequences and put in my own poses that has their arms stuck. The poses for struggling in quicksand are pretty much standard, there is not much change from that.

If you had an item with the arms stuck animation on maximum priority, it would override just the arms part of the quicksand animation. The only item I know of that can do this is a Restrained Freedom straitjacket, although there's probably other things that would work. In multi item outfits, only the item that contains the script should be necessary.
Of course RLV makes it so the victim is unable to free themselves once stuck, but I'd guess you know about that already.

I met a girl who used RLV handcuffs behind her back. They would not allow her arms to rise in any other animation. Looked pretty hot in quicksand, actually!

Thanks to all of you. I've tried both the handcuffs and the straitjacket, and had good results with both.

Oh, could you tell me how to stop the animations and do my own poses? I've tried before and don't know how.
