Quicksand Fans

Just a quick question here out of couriousity. Has anyone heard from Kristine Lynn lately?

Not me. She hasn't been on Facebook in like, forever. I think I asked Dave Lodoski if he knew how she was doing, and he said she was alive and well and having "way too much fun" if I remember correctly. Sigh. I miss her.

We have an anonymous member who remains in regular contact with Kristine. He reports that she is doing very well having recently earned her health department certification to drive milk trucks to and from giant dairies all over America's heartland. I can only imagine the person that recognises her.

"Hey, you're... aren't you the... ummmm. Hi Christine. What a surprise. Good to finally meet you!" Or something like that.

Two words: white lingerie (young lady, deep mud). Seriously, she was one of the most courageous models - walking out into a real bog and just working her way under - not on a set, either - the real thing. I always admired her for that.

Also a real lady, too. Years ago, I had ordered one of her VHS videos and she included a hand written note thanking me for the purchase, but also talking about other things as well. It was nice of her, and I thought a classy thing to do.

Driving a milk tanker is in some ways more dangerous than driving a gasoline tanker. To ensure they can be cleaned properly, food tankers are "smoothbore" tanks, without internal baffles to discourage the product from sloshing around. When as much as 30 tons of milk goes "slosh" it can have serious effects on the truck and the driver. It can be worse if the truck is partially loaded. In one case I heard about, a NY State Trooper was manning a road block, and a milk tanker had to stop quickly to keep from hitting him. He started to climb up on the running board to talk to the driver. The driver said "NO! Get off!" but of course Troopers don't take orders from civilians. The impact of the milk against the front of the tank tossed said Trooper about ten feet.

Anyway, best of luck to the incredible Kristine Lynn. If she ever makes it to Upstate NY, she's more than welcome to drop in for a visit.
