My Dinner with Andre. :D

Well, if you could get a couple of attractive ladies and a fancy table set up on a pit of bottomless quicksand... They can discuss life's foibles and philosophize on how it is like being in quicksand, as they sink out of sight before the dessert course.

I was disappointed that the Prince of Persia movie didn't have any desert quicksand.

Boggy Man wrote:In the movie, Crocodile Dundee, there was a scene where reporter Sue Charlton (played by Linda Kozlowski) undressed into a swimsuit, and was getting some water when she was attacked by a crocodile, with Crocodile Dundee watching her from behind the foliage, and then coming to her rescue. It would have been nice to see her fall into some quicksand.

Yes! Would've worked in great with the scene too. As she steps to the water's edge to fill the canteen, she starts sinking into the mud and gets stuck, only to see a crock swimming towards her, increasing her struggles. Then Dundee would swoop in, kill the crock and slowly pull her out.

A recent flick that SHOULD have had QS was Gravity. SPOILER ALERT: In the final scene as Sandra Bullock swims from the sunken capsule and crawls onto the shore...she should have sunk into the shore. It would have totally fit with the scene as well; every single time we thought she was saved, something else happened to almost kill her.

I agree! what movies would NOT benefit from a quicksand scene? Plan 9 was so bad just about anything might have helped. Attack of the Killer Tomatos could have had a scene where the evil fruits form a pit and suck people in.

Just finished watching the new Poltergeist. Short scene in the movie where a girls leg gets pulled into some black muck. The muck is later seen again at the end of the movie but nothing occurs. It was a great opportunity that was missed.

Tomb Rider with Angelina Jolie.

King Solomon's Mines with Sharon Stone.

Manny Movies of Tarzan.

Especially with Ron Ely in the Three Faces of Death, if the Princes Nor would he have had the help of Tarzan, she would have faced the hallway?
