Quicksand Fans

Hey everyone! quicksand_for_life here! Aside from everyone here at Quicksand Fans, does anyone you know personally (friends and family) know about your quicksand fetish? My boyfriend is the only person that knows about my quicksand fetish. I was really afraid to tell him at first not knowing how he'll react but he seemed like he took it okay even though he doesn't understand it. Anyone else here tell your friends or family members about your quicksand fetish?

I'm never told friends or family. Besides the people are here, 2 girls who I dated knew. 1 was interested but we never got to it. The other was sort of interested and we actually tried it a few times one time getting really stuck. I don't think see was really into it, but she had fun the times we went out.

No one except people on this forum even know... And I intend to keep it that way because... Obvious reasons.

There are a handful within our group here that know who I really am. Beyond that there is no one in my regular life who has any idea.

I told my wife in 1996 a year after I found others like me on the Internet and she was fine with it.

I have since met a few forum members in real life.

My Ex girlfriend knows. when we were together we had talked about having a sink together which i was looking forward to. but things didnt work out between us and so it never happened.

come to think of it, she might still be interested in giving it ago as just friends. but havent spoken to her in a year.

but for all i know she is the only person i have told.

Personally I've chosen only a few people to have the privilege of knowing that which we call a,fetish.

At the core of this is the idea of fear of rejection. But we must consider an important fact.

Often rejection is a good learning experience. We can either be weakened by it,and become smaller. Or become creative singular individuals and reject herd mentality!

Just a kind reminder that community will only take you so far. You must also find your own path. I have learned this lesson. And it is a good one.
