Was just flipping channels lastnight, and there was a show called "The Tool" or something like that lol. Apparently it's about guys who are jerks, but trying to make it up to their girlfriends and win big money, yada yada, normal reality show fare. Anyways,i happened to be flipping by it lastnight when lo and behold, they were doing a couples challange with their girlfriends that involved running across the old standby cornstarch filled pools....like 8 of them! Towards the beginning the girls, obviously unsure of the properties, pretty much all sank and got stuck with one even commenting "it was horrible, was just like quicksand!" Was just wondering if anyone else saw that

If anyone is getting the following message:
Content not Available
We are sorry, this content is not available for your country.
Try out this alternate site:
http://www.vh1.com/video/play.jhtml?id=1622589There is an adjustment for video quality (picture of two gears on lower right of video), so that if it is too blocky, you can set it to a higher bitrate for faster connections, or if it is not running smoothly, you can set it to a lower bitrate for slower connections. The part of interest starts at 21:30. Enjoy!

I get "not available in your region" on BOTH. I live in the UK. So... yeah guess I'm screwed.

Here ya go.
http://www.mpvstuff.com/clips/toolacademy.wmvI had to hijack the wife's DVR for this. I don't chase after clips like in the old days, but this seemed worthy.
I wish I could have sorted out the resolution better at the point of getting it out of the DVR. If a light bulb goes off in the near future, I may try again. But one thing I know for sure is that my hi-def camcorders don't do
line in the way the DV stuff could. That sucks.

Oh Dave! Thanks, thanks a lot!
That was funny! The women are able to get out of the stuff on their own, unlike the women from Brazil

It seems, the guys even don't attempt to help them.

The premise of this entire show is that the guys are jerks so no surprise. Apparently the folks in Brazil are a little brighter than this lot since only one of them figured out how to run across it.

Practice of everyday struggle for survival?

In fact, the stuff here was too liquid. In the Brazilian shows the stuff was of various thickness, and we could see, that with more liquid stuff they can't stay on the surface, but can get out after they sink; with thicker stuff they can run on it, but once they sink - they are trapped. I vote for thicker stuff!
Well, I wish I had access to all the material shot with all the cameras

I can imagine what a great moments of struggle are there.
