Just watched "Destination Truth" on SyFy (stupid name, should have stayed SciFi channel, but I digress. . .)
Anyway, the ever-clumsy team leader, Josh Gates, wanders into quicksand in the Peruvian Amazon and gets sucked in up to his thighs. Not real great visually, but a dramatic scene, as this is a non-fiction, non-scripted show.

Fun show to watch but the night vision green and Blair Witch camera movements don't support any real good shots. I have to agree on the name as well. SciFi was a lot better.

Re: Quicksand on "Destination Truth"
Why they are so locked into the "wander around lost in the dark" format when they're investigating daylight phenomena is beyond me. Like "Dirty Jobs", it could be a great show if the host weren't a flaming @$$hole.
